John Armstrong

Executive Vice-President, Columbia Group of Companies

John Armstrong has over twenty years of finance experience in various industries including maritime transportation, oil and gas exploration and refining, and commercial banking.

Armstrong began working with Columbia Coastal Transport, LLC in 1992 as Executive Vice President with key responsibility for all finance and administrative functions. Since then, his major areas of focus have expanded to include capital structuring, oversight of the organization’s legal interests, risk management and accounting.  

He also works closely with Bruce Fenimore, president and CEO, to foster customer service excellence within the organization and to position the company to meet their vision of the future.
